Wow...2009
So here we are! I need to update this place a little bit!
New word for 2009- Authority!
Throughout the New Testament,especially in Ephesians we are reminded that Jesus beat the devil when he was raised from the dead. And he was seated at the right hand of the Father. All power and authority has been given to Jesus.
..And he has passed this on to us.
Paul tells us that we are seated with Jesus as well in those same heavenly places.
We,again, are reminded that Jesus is the head of the church and we are his BODY.
Let's think about this for a second: a head cannot move on its own except the body moves first....
Walk in authority by who you are in Him. Jesus disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them and triumphed over them by the cross. Jesus made the way for us to move forward!

John 3:16
God loved the world soooo much that He gave himself to it.
He loved His creation so much.
He wants to come in and be a part of it.
It is so easy that whomever believes it is Him and believes all the things He can do, they WILL LIVE FOREVER!
Just believing in God is enough to empower you to live forever.
Believing is like touching and experiencing.
When we believe God and that He came as Jesus to live among us, we are brought into contact with life. A life that cannot be quenched.
He loved His creation so much.

Abraham season...
A quote from Face to Face with God by Bill Johnson:
"When God told Abraham to leave his country of origin, He didn't bother to tell him where he was going. He only made it clear that if he was going to be able to fulfill the assignment God was offering him, he couldn't stay in his old environment. When God only gives us the guidance we need for the moment, it tends to keep us closer to Him. This helps us learn the all-important lesson of dependence on God-a lesson that every single person marked by the favor of God has to learn."
Just stay close to Him...

A vision on 2-16-08...
On Saturday nights, we have a really intimate praise and worship time at church. Sometimes anything can happen.
This past Saturday night I had a vision that I was standing in front of this large fabric, curtain-like veil. It was really thick and really heavy. As I moved away from it, I stood at the very northwest corner of our state and could see facing south for many many miles.
I noticed that there were more of these veils hanging everywhere. The veils were set up by men and women. They were arranged in zig zag like patterns and were spread out all over the area. The veils were set up so that there were ways and paths to walk and travel through.
There were masses of people in these path that just moved on through minding their own business. It was like they were being herded through like cattle. There was really no where else to go, there were no other choices.
I asked the Lord what these veils were and all of a sudden I was brought close enough to them so that the names of some of them were revealed.
Here are the names of some of the veils:
-my desires
-my plans
-my agenda
-systems of the world
-systems of the church
And there was a couple of large veils named "fear"
I could hear muffled singing on the other sides of the veils and as the singing got louder, some of the weaker veils which had no name began to fall from where they hung. As they fell the people around began to notice that there was more than they had realized and began to sing in unity with one another.
As they sang, more veils began to fall.
I felt the Lord say to me to, "pray in worshipers, pray in praisers"
As this worship and praise movement gets stronger, the remaining veils will fall.

Pro life...
Romans 8:28-And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God knew you before you were formed, before the foundations of the world.
One of the arguments in support of abortion say that abortion should remain legal for the purposes of rape and incest. But here is what I think:
The Lord makes all things new. God saw that tragic situations that would happen to a lot of women throughout humanity. The birth of a new life is one way that God is making things new and how new life can bring healing through new beginnings.
Some people just need a bigger God.
